Download – Q-Core Quantum Coherence in Redox Enzymes Version α 0.001®
Understanding how quantum coherence emerges and propagates in redox enzymes requires spatially resolved information about their atomic environments and electronic connectivity.Q-Core (Quantum Coherence in Redox Enzymes) is an open-source Python tool developed to facilitate this type of structural and spatial analysis directly from PDB or mmCIF files.It provides a bridge between structural biology and computational modeling of charge-transfer pathways by enabling researchers to explore macromolecular geometries, detect short-range contacts, isolate functional domains, and export atomic coordinates for subsequent theoretical calculations. Unlike web-based visualizers or molecular dynamics packages, Q-Core operates entirely through a terminal interface, prioritizing transparency, reproducibility, and cross-platform compatibility. Its bilingual (Portuguese/English) interface allows straightforward integration into laboratory workflows, from undergraduate teaching to high-performance computational research. The tool is particularly designed to support the investigation of quantum-coherent redox processes, providing residue-level exports that can be used in in-house or third-party codes for tunneling analysis, Landauer transmission, or Marcus-type kinetic modeling.
